Honolulu based FSC Architects, known for their hospitality design and resort architecture around the world, in collaboration with Philpotts Interiors and PBR landscape architecture are designing the renovation, addition and reposition of the 432 room Ka'anapali Beach Hotel (KBH) on Maui, as recently announced by the hotel and reported in The Maui News.

James G. Freeman, AIA, FSC Architects Principal-in-Charge of the project says the property has a magical quality about it with the abundance of open lawns and landscaping that immediately slows down your heart rate and compels you to find a spot on the lawn under the shade of a tree and take a nap. Mike White, General Manager at KBH says the new beach front restaurant "...is built around a theme of accomplishment of Hawaiian wayfinding and navigation and basically the Hawaiians' relationship with the sea."
