Honoring a Princess, Inspiring a Place
Once home to Princess Ka’iulani—the beloved heir to the Hawaiian throne—the Ainahau Estate was graced by the gentle waters of the Apuakehua Stream. This place-making inspired mixed-use redevelopment honors her youthful spirit, elegance, and timeless charm, weaving her legacy into a vibrant new destination that celebrates Hawaii’s cultural heart.
At
its center, a lively gathering place encircles a traditional Hula Mound, where the rhythms of Hawaiian music
and dance fill the air. Surrounding it, a rich mix of food, beverage, and
entertainment venues invites visitors to linger and connect. A retail
promenade traces the long-forgotten path of the stream, flowing diagonally
through the property and linking its diverse elements together—like the
intricate stitching of a Hawaiian quilt. Rising above the two-level commercial
podium refined mixed-use hotel and condominium towers offer sweeping
ocean views from every residence, bringing the story full circle from heritage
to horizon.
