Changsha Meixi Lake Resort Master Plan

Where Garden, Water and Architecture Become Poetry

Envisioned as a modern reimagining of a Classic Chinese Garden, this master plan is a poetic celebration of the Jiangnan Yuan-Lin tradition, where architecture and landscape flow together in serene harmony.

By day, the tranquil lake reflects heaven and earth like a perfect mirror; by night, it transforms into a romantic stage of shimmering lights, dancing across the water from glowing pavilions along the shore. Nestled within these timeless structures are two contemporary luxury hotels, six private villas, and an island village center, all gracefully linked by Lakeshore Drive, curving like a jeweled necklace and bridged by elegant moon gates.

Set within a mountain valley just outside Changsha, with a meandering stream and cascading ponds, the resort feels as if it were painted onto the landscape itself. Guests are invited to wander through living brushstrokes of garden artistry, immersed in an experience that may inspire them to feel as though they’ve stepped into a classic Chinese painting—or perhaps, to write a poem of their own.
