Bamboo Lantern Hotel

Rivers of Landscape

This modern hotel design sits on a hilltop above Halong Bay in Northern Vietnam with wonderful views across the limestone islands of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The resort architecture concept is based on rivers of bamboo that flow along the arrival road, through the Porte Cochere, Lobby and down between the guest wings.

The Lobby forms the architectural centre piece as a glass bamboo cathedral gently glowing at night.
