Maritim Tai Hu Bay Resort Master Plan
Master Planning Created by the Heavens
Tai Hu Lake was formed millions of years ago when an asteroid crashed into the earth creating this shallow circular lake we see today. Tai Hu is also the third largest lake in China.
Sitting at the northern end of the lake the master planning consists of an 18 hole golf course, 320 key luxury hotel design, 140 villas and two club houses. The golf course is planned in the lower elevations of the site with the clubhouse sitting on a hillside to the north allowing returning nines of play. The hospitality design firms focus was on creating lake views so villas are arranged on the hillsides and the hotel is mostly single loaded.
The resort architecture style takies its lead from materials naturally occuring on the site.
