Shangri-La Al Waha
A Resort Oasis
Nestled in its own private ‘Wadi’ (the Arabic name for a valley) this hotel is designed around several swimming pools that form an oasis or ‘Waha’. The hotel is accessed by a tunnel cut through the mountain and is linked to the other two hotels of the resort by a lazy river and beach walk. With 262 guestrooms the architectural style is less decorative than the neighboring sister hotels of the Barr al Jissah Resort. This, along with more active water features, is in keeping with this family orientated offer.
