DISTRICT 1 TOWER

Ralph Shelbourne and Sandra Vajcs of FSC Architects recently completed this design for a new mixed use skyscraper in Ho Chi Minh City. At the heart of the Diplomatic District this iconic building points to the future of the city as a international place of business. A 250 room hotel occupies the upper floors with serviced apartments below. Office and retail space form a podium with car parking under ground. The engineering design uses cutting edge technology to create three spiraling glass and steel towers that change and almost ‘dance’ when viewed from different angles at street level. At night the tower is lit as a new landmark next to April 30th Park, Notre Dame Cathedral and The Reunification Palace.
